A free day of masterclasses for male-identifying performers taught by industry professionals.
Carrie the Musical
Our BA3 production, Carrie: The Musical follows a young woman with telekinetic powers. An outcast at school, where she is bullied viciously for her differences, Carrie is also lost at home, with a fervently religious mother whose love traps her in its maw. When PE teacher Miss Gardner, kind classmate Sue Snell, and boyfriend Tommy Ross reach out to try and help Carrie, it seems that for once, Carrie might have a shot at being accepted. Unfortunately, Chris Hargensen, the class’s most vicious bully, has other ideas. Pushed to the brink, Carrie’s powers threaten to overwhelm her, and devour everyone around her in flame.
This production may be considered unsuitable for under 16s.

Theatre Arts Experience Day
The Theatre Arts Experience Day is a great opportunity for prospective students to learn more about The Hammond's Theatre Arts courses. Students can attend classes taught by experienced faculty, meet current students, and ask questions about the programmes on offer. The day is also a chance to get a feel for the school and its facilities.
The Theatre Arts Experience Day is open to students in Years 7-13 who are interested in joining any of The Hammond's Theatre Arts courses: Foundation, Specialised, or Advanced.

Theatre Arts Experience Day
This is your chance to experience what a day at the Hammond is like for a Theatre Arts student. You’ll take part in classes taught by our Theatre Arts faculty alongside current students and will have the chance to ask questions and get a feel for the school. This is the perfect day for students looking to join any of our Theatre Arts courses - Foundation (Years 7 - 9), Specialised (Year 10 - 11) & Advanced (Sixth Form).
Easter Dance Intensive
The Hammond’s Easter Dance Intensive will take place over the 3rd, 4th, & 5th April 2023 and will include classes in Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical, Commercial and Musical Theatre Repertoire. This course is for students aged 9 - 16 years.
Timings will be 9:15am until 3:45pm Monday and Tuesday; 9:15am until 2:30pm on the Wednesday where there will be a showing of work at 2:30pm for Parents and Guardians.
The total cost of the three days will be £82.50 and you can secure your place by paying a £25 deposit. Full balance is to be paid by Friday 24th March. Details on how to pay are at the end of the application form.
Please note that this course is not residential.

Concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable supervisor, will the girls manage to reform their office - or will events unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit…?

The Hammond Associates: Dance Audition
Our Associate scheme consists of three Sunday sessions per term where students between ages of 9-15 will train with our professional dance and performing arts faculty, and an exciting selection of guest teachers. Our programme offers training in Jazz, Commercial, Ballet, Breakdance, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Acting, Singing and Movement technique.

Every once in a while, a heartwarming show comes along that restores your faith in humanity. This is not that show.
This Tony-Award winning musical tells the story of the not-so-distant future, where a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. Citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs.
