Michelle Yeoh & The Hammond
Following the recent worldwide success of ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ and Michelle Yeoh’s subsequent and well-deserved Oscar win, a number of people have been in touch to excitedly inform us that Ms Yeoh is in fact a member of The Hammond Alumni.
Ms Yeoh attended The Hammond in the early 1980s, prior to attending the Royal Academy of Dance. What followed is the glass-ceiling-shattering career we’re all familiar with.
To say we’re proud to have been a part of Ms Yeoh’s journey is an understatement, and this has highlighted how many stories remain untold from the one-hundred-plus years of The Hammond’s existence.
We’d like to take this opportunity to renew our dedication to celebrating our illustrious history and to strengthen links between our past, our present and the future of The Hammond.
