Celebrating Success: Ellen and Emily Join Birmingham Royal Ballet's 'Sleeping Beauty Dreams' Production!

Congratulations to Hammond students Ellen (Year 8) and Emily (D3) who have been successful in being to become company members for Birmingham Royal Ballet’s production of ‘Sleeping Beauty Dreams’, which is taking place on Sunday 25th February, at 7pm at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

This is an incredible opportunity is a testament to the talent and work of ethic of both Ellen and Emily. We’re so proud of their achievement. We have no doubt they’ll have the time of their lives throughout the rehearsal process at BRB’s studios, getting a taste of what we’re sure will be the first of many professional dance productions for these two performers.

More about the production from the Birmingham Royal Ballet website:

“This is the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s fourth Dreams production, starting back in 2017 with Cinderella Dreams. Each has proved a delightful opportunity for talented amateur dancers, aged from eight to 80 and above, to take part in a professional production, performed this year on the BRB’s own Sleeping Beauty production set, with Dreams company members sharing the spotlight with two of the BRB’s world-class dancers in the roles of Aurora and Prince Florimund.”
