As the Music Department at The Hammond goes from strength to strength, we are able to offer pupils with a talent for music a stimulating, educational and musical environment.
The fully equipped Music Department, which includes practice rooms, numerous pianos, a large range of instruments and a "state of the art" recording studio, has developed into an established centre for music. Its regular concerts by its many choral groups, school band and instrumental ensembles continue to maintain the high reputation of the department.
Pupils who opt for the Music Entry will receive an enriched music curriculum with many opportunities to perform and work alongside others of a similar standard. This will also include working with talented students from other areas of the performing arts helping to further develop their talents.
