Parents are entitled under educational legislation to ask to
see a number of school policies. These policies cover
admissions, behaviour, exclusions; educational and welfare
provision for students with statements, or whose first language is
not English; curriculum; behaviour management; bullying; health and
safety; school visits; the complaints procedure (with data on the
number of formal complaints received in the preceding school year);
the school staff and their qualifications.
