School Fees for the Academic Year commencing September 2016

 

Audition and Entrance Examination Fees


Lower School & Senior Dance auditions £45

Registration Fee

A non-refundable £155 registration fee is payable when you register your child for a place at The Hammond. (Registration fee not applicable for the diploma courses)

School Fees

Our fees cover general academic books, stationery and fees for academic examinations and personal accident insurance. Lunches are included for lower school pupils.

Hammond Preparatory School

School Fees, including school lunches and use of the Dance, Drama and Music Facilities £2,735 per term. Performing Arts Scholarships are available for years 4,5 and 6.

Lower School (11- 16 years)

Education £3,770 per term

Education and Drama Training £4,450 per term

Education and Music Training £4,450 per term

Education and Dance Training £6,115 per term


Boarding - additional charge £2,750 per term


Post 16

6th Form BTEC Drama Course £4,230 per term

Trinity Diploma in Professional Dance Course £5,900 per term

Trinity Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre Course £5,900 per term

Returnable Deposit

This deposit is included in your first term's account but is not counted against your school fees, and is refunded when your child leaves the school. - UK Pupils £ 350

Continental EU Pupils £1,750

Other International Pupils £5,500

Extras

Charges will be made for school trips, taxis, including those to and from medical appointments, school photographs and Dance & Music examination fees. A production cost contribution of £45 per year will be charged for student participation in school productions, to cover costumes, make-up etc and £50 for attending all internal performances and the production of the school magazine. These and any other extras arising will be billed in advance, or in arrears, at the discretion of the school.


Medical Cover

ALTHOUGH THE HAMMOND HAS BEEN ADVISED THAT MEMBERSHIP OF THE BUPA INSURANCE SCHEME IS NOW NOT COMPULSORY,  WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT LOWER SCHOOL PUPILS JOIN THIS SCHEME. 

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE FAMILY MEMBERSHIP OF AN ALTERNATIVE SCHEME, WE REQUIRE THAT YOU SUBMIT THE CERTIFICATE OF MEMBERSHIP TO THE SCHOOL.

  Overseas Students

A full term's fees are required prior to entering The Hammond, along with the returnable deposit referenced above. For pupils whose first language is not English we will arrange extra language tuition under the English as an Additional Language Service (EAL), for which additional charges will apply. Please contact the School Secretary for more details.

Private Lessons

These can be organised for Music and Drama on request. Please contact the School Secretary for more details.

Payment of School Fees

Fees are strictly payable in advance, one week before the first day of each term

A surcharge of 2.5% will be made for credit card payments to cover bank charges

Please make your cheque payable to "The Hammond School Ltd" and include your remittance advice slip printed at the bottom of your invoice.

Fees in Advance

Fess paid in advance (2 years +) protect you from future fee increases over the pre-paid period. For more information please call or email the School Secretary or Finance Office.

To remove your child or terminate your contract:

A term's notice in writing to the Principal is strictly required, on or before the start of term.

Failure to comply with this will result in a term's fees being charged in lieu of notice
