Eight teams competed for The Hammond Cup on Saturday March 13^th. The tournament produced some very closely contested games and the four teams who won through to the semi finals were the Queen’s school, Birkenhead school, King’s school, and The White House School.

The Queen’s school and The White House School met in the final and after extra time The Queen’s school emerged as winners.

 

Medals and certificates were presented by members of The Hammond School’s Year 11 P.E group who organised the tournament as part of their Sports Leadership Award course.
