The Hammond School aims to produce a creative and caring environment which encourages artistic, educated and outstanding dancers. Our students are inspired individuals who consistently aim for, and achieve, a high international standard.

The school is a visionary centre of creativity and excellence, recognised and supported by the Government through the Music and Dance Scheme (Lower School) and the Learning and Skills Council Dance and Drama Awards (Senior School) - providing vocational and educational training for talented students from all backgrounds, throughout an eight-year training programme.

Dance is a stunning combination of many art forms: music, sculpture, painting, literature and theatre. All Hammond pupils are encouraged to develop a dedicated and active awareness in these allied arts, enriching their personal lives and stimulating their development as creative artists.
