Entry
- All Hammond pupils follow a full academic course…
- … leading to a maximum of 9 GCSEs
- Entry is via entrance tests and audition. For Drama
and Music students, the main day for entrance tests takes place on
a Saturday in late January with auditions on the following
Monday. It is sometimes possible to arrange tests and
auditions on other dates, e.g. for late applicants. For Dance
students, there are several audition days through the year and
entrance tests are administered by their current school.
Fees
- £3,385 per term if no speciality in Performing Arts is followed (2012-13)
Curriculum
- Full academic curriculum in Key Stages 3 & 4
- Supporting curriculum includes Careers, Health & Citizenship (through PSHE), and PE (except for Dance students)
- Up to 9 GCSEs can be achieved in Key Stage 4
- Dance, Drama and Music are all available as GCSE options
- Learning Support available when needed, with experienced & qualified LS teacher
Exam results
- Good GCSE results; 94% achieved 5+ GCSEs at grades A*-C (2011 data)
